Hello everyone! Well I’ve come a long way since those days trying to stay warm on the trip. Now I’m trying to stay warm in Canada and of course missing Costa Rica! But I have some exciting news and I’m writing a quick, short blog to tell you that a week from now I will be going to the RE/MAX convention in Las Vegas! I am so happy that I get to go to see Dad and I am so excited I’ll see some of you there!
I can’t even to begin to tell you how happy I am that we reached our goal of $25,000. Thank you all so much for your support, help and donations! If it wasn’t for all of you, Dad and I would just be two crazy people with a motorcycle and a dream… but thanks to you guys, we can all be crazy together! But seriously, thank you all so much. When I was 10 and I voiced my dream to my parents, I never thought it would snowball into this! Two years ago I didn’t think I could sit on the back of a motorcycle for that long every day and not get bored, but somehow I did it (with the help of all of you) with very minimal boredom… my trick was to imagine the next family/person/hotel we were going to stay with.
I can’t wait to meet you (to those of you who are going) in Vegas for the RE/MAX convention! I will probably write another short blog eventually, probably after I leave the convention.
